The Show Tech Stop Bleeding Styptic Powder is for dogs, cats and birds to provide first aid treatment for superficial cuts, small lacerations and minor injuries, that can happen for example when shortening the nails or beaks.

Fill the Stop Bleeding Powder in the opening of the holder, now put the bleeding nail directly into the powder. Alternatively, you can apply a pinch of the antiseptic styptic powder with a Q-tip directly to the bleeding area, exert moderate pressure on the wound for approximately 10 seconds, the blood clogs, and the bleeding will be stopped.

If you cannot stop the bleeding within a short time or if your pet bleeds heavily, please consult your veterinarian immediately!

The Show Tech powder should not be used for deep wounds, severe cuts, burns or in body cavities.
